Using the Free Email Service

Free Email Service comprises of the following services:

  • Email Account: DeployClick provides you with 2 Email Account(s)
    free with every domain purchase, along with POP/IMAP access. Each account comes with 100 MB space.

  • Email Forwarding: This service is provided free upon purchase of any Product/Service through DeployClick.

    Note

    Email Forwarding cannot be activated if Email Hosting has been activated for the domain name.

Step 1: Log in to your control panel. Learn how

Step 2: Navigate to the Order View.

Search the domain name for which you want to access the email services and select the domain to view the order information.

Step 3: Activate and Manage Free Email.

If you are accessing the email service for the first time you need to Activate the service before you can create or manage the email accounts. If you have already activated the email service proceed to Managing Email Accounts below.

i. Activate the Email Service.

In the FREE EMAIL section, click Activate to enable the free email service. Activate Email

Note

The Free Email Service will be activated when you click Activate for the first time.

ii. Manage Email Accounts.

  1. Once you have activated the email service, under the FREE EMAIL section click Manage. This will open up the email management panel. Manage Free Email
  2. In the email management panel, click Add User.Add User
  3. Fill up the details, the alternate email address will be used to communicate the details for the account like configuration options and login details. User Details
  4.  Click Add User to add a new user.Add User
  5. Note down the email address and the generated password on the next screen. This is required for the user to log in to the account.Login Details

 

You can create a maximum of 2 Email Account(s). If you want to add more accounts you need to purchase Business Email hosting or Enterprise Email hosting as per your requirements.

Authorize our Email Server to Send/Receive Emails for your Domain Name.

Upon activating your Free Email Service, you need to enable our Email Server to be able to send/receive emails for your domain name. You would need to add the required DNS (MX, CNAME, TXT) Records on your DNS management interface if you wish to retain the existing nameservers on your domain name and are not using the default Name Servers provided by DeployClick. Kindly contact your DNS providers support team for details about adding the records.

The DNS records are listed in the Email Hosting Management interface. Click Mail and then click DNS Configuration.Settings

Note

Upon purchase of a Single Domain Hosting / Multi Domain Hosting / Reseller Hosting Order for a domain name, the Free Email Service interface will no longer be available in the Order View if the Free Email Service was not activated (by clicking Manage) before the Hosting Order was purchased.
However, if the Free Email Service was activated initially and then the Hosting Order was purchased, the Free Email Service interface will continue to be displayed in the Order View. You are now required to create and manage email accounts from the Single Domain Hosting / Multi Domain Hosting / Reseller Hosting Management interface itself and not through the Free Email Service. You may need to download the emails under the email accounts created through the Free Email Service to your local computer before making the switch
